Get your free Soul Clap mixtape here, ahead of Fabric’s 12th birthday bash

This week’s set of melded tunes comes from a rather special duo that have tearing up the scene with their blend of druggy slo-mo house and electro for some time now. That it’s rumoured to be the first recorded set they ever properly laid down only makes it more exciting.

Plain & Simple favourites Soul Clap (with their previous Guest Chart going down a storm, and that DJ Kicks with Wolf + Lamb we celebrated earlier this year) have kindly dug out a mixtape called Disco Step 2001 for our friend’s in Farringdon, who have in turn passed it our way to share with you lovely readers. The vibe is pretty old school to say the least, though we don’t just mean turn of the millennium, so make sure your hi-tops are still looking fresh. This is all, of course, thanks to Fabric, as the London venue celebrates 12 years of its mind-blowing soundsytem this weekend with the On & On & On.

That means for 30 hours from October 22nd-24th you can catch Craig Richards, Terry Francis, Ricardo Villalobos, Moodymann, Margaret Dygas, Rhadoo, Space Dimension Controller, Maya Jane Coles, Lee Foss, Pearson Sound, Ben Klock, Peter Van Hosen (LIVE), Steffi, Soul Clap, Three, Droog, Antonio De Angelis, and Richy Ahmed. For more details of that click on this link to be sent in the direction of Fabric’s website, while following the simple instructions below will ensure you take home a copy of the aforemetioned mixtape.
