Hamburg duo Adana Twins have had a great year in 2012,picking up plenty of top support, leading up many charts at RA and Beatport and all with their own sultry brand of deep house music. Their last outing was on the Everyday EP, but here ‘Exploited’ gets remixed by four big names and will likely prove and enduring hit once again as a result.
First up is the Amine Edge DANCE remix which has already shot to the top of the Beatport chart. It’s soupy, snaky version with a meandering bassline and distant male vocal floating up top. NTFO tackles the next version, making it a little sandier and more edgy for the later night hours with more menace in the bassline. LA Fleur goes for a more cosmic leaning remix with dazzling, twinkling melodies before Martin Dawson teams up with Andre Cromm for a deep, tripped out mix that kicks with a funky waviness.
Adana Twins are playing in sold-out venues now and arecausing sit-downs during their sets when they pull out their anthems ‘Everyday’ and ‘Strange’. These remixes will likely have the same affect.
