For the past three years, BTB’s eclectic, bass-led soundtrack of dubstep, techno, bassline, digital ragga and other electronic finery (coupled with the fun instilled by their beach party, pikey rave, geek chic and wild west themed nights) has left their carefree crowd stripped of inhibition and has helped to redefined dance music in their home city of Birmingham.
Venturing further afield, one of the most charismatic party brands in the country now has similarly successful residencies in Sheffield, Nottingham and Leeds and offers said cities the sort of fresh, urban soundtracks not heard anywhere else.
This Birthday Bash will be taking things up a notch with headline sets from crack house hero, d&b innovator and breasktep master DJ Zinc, whilst all round ragga muffins and persistent bass bin botherers Toddla T & Redlight roll in with their The Roller Express tour.
After moving in together in a studio in West London – dubbed the Roller Express studios – the UK bass merchants decided to get out on the road for 12 dates and BTB are happy to have secured one of them. As well as that there will be appearances from the ever on-point residents and guests from similar promotions in Loughborough and Nottingham all helping to celebrate 4 years of Bigger Than Barry.
