Asadinho returns to RvS Music with one very special EP of groovy, modern and low-slung house music. Introducing Natamiq on vocals, ‘Transgression’ is a chunky and buoyant ode to the grievances of modern times, with an edgy vocal refrain backed by warm and organic production. Balancing modern elements with the classic, and the track packs some serious party punch. Currently en route to taking over the world, Alex Arnout (Crosstown Rebels / Dogmatik / One) takes a break from his busy touring schedule to provide a rolling, deep house rendition that is simply sublime. Finally, but certainly not least, is another original by Asadinho, ‘Rouge’, that features an emotive spoken word by the legendary Robert Owens.
This is a quality EP featuring three of house music’s finest all in one tidy package from RvS. Having re-launched in late 2012, RvS have dropped outstanding releases by Cellaphone, Shade, Lana Del Rey with future remixes in the pipeline from Ian Pooley and Sean Dimitrie. Asadinho’s remix Onur Ozman – Flight Fear for Ready Mix Records, Montreal is also out now.
