Need2Soul presents: Peven Everett, Lil Louis, Floating Points, Moxie

Peven Everett brings his stunning live performance to Need2Soul this July 13, joining one of the longest-running legends of house, Lil Louis and two of the most sought-after selectors circulating the scene, Floating Points and Moxie for an unforgettable night of world class music.

Peven Everett arrives in the UK for the first time since 2011, and promises a stunning live set. A multi- musician well known for his musical ability and compositions, Everett has won awards such as the Red Star Soul Independent Achiever, and his tracks such as ‘Gabriel’ with Roy Davis Jr have broken boundaries. He is a proud addition to the Need2Soul lineup.

Lil Louis has long been a favourite of Need2Soul with his soul, disco and Chicago house, and now he is welcomed to headline Need2Soul on July 13. Lil Louis has a rich history in the US house music scene and is famed for his classic productions including, ‘French Kiss’ and ‘Club Lonely’. From the mid-’70s his outstanding ability behind the decks and mixing sensibility made him one of the most in-demand DJs in Chicago, Lil Louis brings a wealth of experience and talent to Need2Soul.

Making his Need2Soul debut, Floating Points joins the lineup following the recent release of his 11-minute track ‘Wires’ on ‘Eglo Records Vol.1’ – a collaborative project featuring 12 other musicians. Sam Shepherd has seen huge support across the industry with steady radio play and guest mixes for the likes of Mary Anne Hobbs and Gilles Peterson. As well as his impressive production style, Floating Points is also building a reputation as one of the world’s most exciting DJ talents, always carrying his trusty E&S rotary mixer. He is an impressive addition to the Need2Soul lineup.

Moxie is known for her ability to seamlessly mix classic Detroit house and 4/4 deep grooves with bassier sounds. The DJ and broadcaster has quickly made a name for herself as part of Benji B’s Deviation family, hosting a fortnightly show on NTS radio, as well as appearances on Kiss FM and Rinse FM and becoming the first female DJ to play the legendary DMZ party. She is certainly one to watch and one not to miss on the July 13.

And it doesn’t stop there as yet another act is still to be announced. Expect to witness undeniable talent and cutting-edge track selection this July.
