Following the initial announcement that Toolroom Knights will be celebrating its 5th Anniversary at the mammoth O₂ Brixton Academy, comes the news that early bird tickets have now completely sold out!
Mark Knight, Fedde Le Grand, Funkagenda, Michael Woods and D.Ramirez have already been announced for the night, with 4500 clubbers from across Europe set to attend what will be the biggest Toolroom Knights event EVER! Widely regarded as one of the most influential players in the global techno scene and a true pioneer of forward thinking electronic music, Umek perfectly reflects the ethos of Toolroom Knights. Now at the very peak of his powers having been voted ‘artist of the year’ in the 2011 Beatport Music Awards, Umek is the dance titan responsible for putting Slovenia well and truly on the electronic music map.
In the foyer Ministry of Sound present Residents, as the Elephant & Castle powerhouse takes the quick step from SE1 to SW9 bringing with them a world class DJ lineup. Two of UK radio’s biggest DJs, Riley & Durrant headline proceedings alongside Toolroom protégé Kim Fai. Ministry of Sound’s very own residents Joe and Will Ask will also keep the foyer ticking, whilst the Shiva Soundsystem return to the Academy with Liam D, Muzz Khan, Ross Taylor, Jordan Brown, Morsey, Immaculate Boys and Ata x 2.
Joining the likes of Mark Knight, Fedde Le Grand, Funkagenda and Umek in the main room will be our ever faithful Toolroom Knights residents, Mark Storie, George Andrews and Pete Griffiths. They come fresh from compiling the latest ‘Toolroom Records Ibiza 2011’ album, armed with an array of upfront sounds to set the tone. Furthermore with our good friends Bootleg Social and Spinning Quickly vs Sick Vibez hosting the Circle Bar and VIP respectively, TK5 is without doubt one of the biggest line-ups ever assembled across four rooms at the O₂ Brixton Academy.
