Tisno, Croatia – 2nd – 6th August 2012
As if the lineup wasn’t enough to tempt you to attend this year’s Stop Making Sense festival, perhaps it’s location will. Taking place in a newly discovered spot further up the Craotian coast is a secluded, idyllic bay near the village of Tisno. Stop Making Sense promises sun, sea, sand and non-stop music to keep you dancing until the early hours.
It’s not just about the music, although the lineup would have you think otherwise, because there’s boat parties, tiki bars and your own private party beach.
The lineup will be graced by three Chicago-born DJ’s and founding fathers of house music, Lil Louis, Ron Trent & Chez Damier. Their tried and tested, laid back styles will compliment the chilled out, seaside venue for Stop Making Sense perfectly.
Other notable artists on the bill include the dance come jazz trio Tortured Soul who have proven themselves as a formidable live act on a global stage. Whether packing out Fabric at peak time or playing to 15,000+ crowds at festivals, Tortured Soul are a must-see at this one.
Jimmy Edgar will be spicing the weekend up with his trademark fusion of funk and electro whilst Radio 1 DJ Benji B with bring an eclectic mix of dance genres for the crowd to enjoy.
