We Love comes to Leeds, AGAIN! Feat Groove Armada

If you missed the UK debut for We Love presents…, fear not! The second in this epic double-banger features a veritable BANQUET of talent. Try Groove Armada (DJ set), James Zabiela and Gorgon City. An incredible selection by any account, and hosted by the fantastically futuristic Control, Leeds.

Over the past decade, Groove Armada AKA Andy Cato and Tom Findlay, have firmly cemented themselves as one of the planet’s most-loved and biggest selling dance acts. The duo have stormed the charts, headlined stages at the world’s biggest festivals and then in 2010, redefined and revolutionised their sound. Black Light – their 6th studio album – achieved massive critical acclaim. The launch year was spent headlining festivals worldwide, ended with Los Angeles and a Grammy nomination.

James Zabiela spins everything from house to techno, to bass and breaks – always resulting in a sweaty, writhing and incredibly satisfied dance-floor. Having released groundbreaking compilations on Renaissance, he now works in an advisory role for Pioneer. He certainly knows his shit. He recently launched his own label Born Electric.

Marc Roberts has spent two decades immersed in dance music. In 2013 he played sets all over Europe, from Bugged Out to ADE. Marc has been responsible for award winning line-ups for an assortment of club events and festivals across the UK and beyond. These include the Alpine behemoth – Snowbombing.

Polished, powerful and party-minded, Gorgon City have already caught the attention of heavyweights such as Diplo, DJ T, Annie Mac and Mistajam. Their sweet, sassy metropolitan mayhem celebrates the very best aspects of the mid-tempo melting pot.

It’s not just an epic line-up you have to look forward to either. Control features everything from a killer Funktion ONE sound system, to sensory depriving tunnels, to impressive and eye-popping light shows in the GeoDeome. It’s pretty damn COSMIC.
