On the 21st June Magda and Heartthrob come together for a rare appearance as alter ego’s – Marv N´ J. Inspired by Detroi Hair Wars and their Gel N’ Weave parties, the talented twosome will be journeying to the outer reaches of their musical minds. Fusing friendship, musical alliances and magic; this will be a night of sonic exploration not to be missed.
Touring alongside Richie Hawtin as his sole opener has been a somewhat enviable musical up bringing for Magda, a Detroit native. Now co-driving her own label – Items & Things, demand for her talent is on the rise.
When Magda and Jesse Heatthrob’s paths crossed in New York, the stars aligned. Seeing as there is no such thing as a coincidence in this world, only the inevitable meant that meeting was an ineluctable fate. Sharing the same intimate minimal scene, inspiration and music, an obvious friendship was forged; and when Richie Hawtin moved into the neighborhood the circle was complete.
Hosted by the awesome Loft Studios – this will be a rare opportunity to bear witness to the magic of Marv N’ J.
