It’s label bosses Los Surbua aka Spanish duo Delmar and Alvaro of labels like Get Physical, Defected and Stil Vor talent who serve up this label’s 33rd release. Known for consistency, this EP including a remix from Amine Edge and DANCE is another sure-fire winner.
The pair’s first track is Goonies. It’s a lush and reflective deep space house track with beautiful patterns of melodies raining down from above as a muffled, darkened vocal mutters below. Hands will most certainly be in the air. One Eyed Willie is a much sandier affair. It’s got menace in its synths and there’s a sexy but sleazy slide to the drums. Stuffed with robotic funk its another bomb.
Finally the Amine Edge and DANCE remix is a broody affair that eventually draws you right in to its heart. The beats and synths are wavy and elastic and sway to and fro invitingly as a half human vocal cry stretches out above. Dancefloor dynamite all round.
