Carl Cox, continuing his quest to play across every stage in every continent ON THE PLANET, will be taking time to visit the motherland this Summer. He will join a host of dance legends, including Armin van Buuren, Marco Carola, Solomun and Sander Van Doorn, in making South West Four one of the greatest celebrations of electronica in recorded history. This will be the tenth anniversary for the festival, and with Earlybird tickets selling out in 25 tiny minutes it isn’t showing any signs of slowing down!
Carl Cox is unquestionably and unequivocally one of the true champions of Techno. Last year he was crowned ‘Best Techno DJ’ in 2012’s Ibiza DJ Awards. I myself have lost many a Sunday evening at the hands of this man, cavorting in the dark depths of the back room at Space, only to realise its not dark anymore, in fact, its Monday and I’m actually dancing on a table on Bora Bora in a multicolored tutu. In my dreams I present him with a personal award for ‘Best DJ To Soundtrack The Most Amazing Memories I Can Barely Remember’
Carl has continued to exercise his ability for entertaining the ever evolving electronic music scene. Over the past decade he has formed an unbreakable bond with the festival. This one is set to be a scorcher!
