“Mau5trap records is a record label. We make records. DJ’s play our records for people to listen to. Sometimes people dance to it, or play it in their cars. That’s all there is to it really.”

Its this simple philosophy that has propelled Mau5trap, Deadmau5’s own label, to become one of the most important labels for a generation and is home to some of the biggest electronic music released in the last three years.

Following two sold out shows at Ministry of Sound, the label have laid plans with LWE for a massive Mau5trap warehouse party. The Line Up includes:

 Tommy Trash and The Frederik.

Tommy Trash brings the image of a true rock superstar to the dance music stage. The hard partying Australian DJ/producer famed for his riotous live shows, ARIA Award-nominated Tommy Trash is one of dance music’s rising stars. Tommy has dominated charts and dance floors alike with over 50 originals and remixes, quickly establishing himself as one of dance music’s uber talented and prolific artists. His music has been released by many of the finest dance music labels across the world including Axtone, Cr2, Dim Mak, Great Stuff, mau5trap, Ministry Of Sound, Mixmash, Musical Freedom, Pinkstar, Rising, Stealth, Subliminal and Toolroom. He’s collaborated with producers including John Dahlback, Moguai and Angger Dimas, and when not busy writing his own hits, he can be found remixing artists such as Armand Van Helden, Dirty South & Thomas Gold, EDX, Green Velvet, Kaskade, Moby, Moguai, Pnau, R3hab & Swanky Tunes, Steve Aoki, Swedish House Mafia vs. Knife Party, Zedd and many more.

The Frederick is mau5trap’s newest member of the family. It is easy to see why mau5trap signed him, sounding like the bastard son of deadmau5, Skrillex & Feed Me. His first release on mau5trap “Delirium” notched up a massive 50,000 viewings overnight! That’s pretty impressive for a first release… Catch him at mau5trap’s first ever warehouse party whilst he’s on his way to the top.

Noisia

Noisia (who took their name from the word VISION inverted on an upside down VHS tape) are Nik Roos, Thijs de Vlieger and Martijn van Sonderen, hailing fromGroningen, The Netherlands. The release of Noisia’s debut artist album ‘Split The Atom’ on their own Vision Recordings imprint in 2010 immediately made an ineffaceable mark on electronic music, it was the release of this album that led them to Deadmau5 who highlighted it as his favourite album of the year, so instigatingThe deluxe re-issue of the album on mau5trap ‘Split The Atom Special Edition”.

Bare Noize

Bare Noize  have become some of the world’s most sought after producers since their early work in 2009. Instantly you could see that their combined multiple instrument skills, audio engineering and an ear from precision production were going to lay the foundation for them quickly becoming a formidable contender in the electronic producer scene. Their development and consistent drive for improving technique and sound quality can be seen through their initial discography. Tracks such as ‘Chucky’ 2009 and ‘Filth Lummox’ established them as one’s to watch amongst an evolving breed of producers within dub step’s more technical variant. With all eyes on the London based production duo the Foreign Beggars asked them to remix Medison feat. Skrein for their imprint Dented which led to one of the biggest Dubstep anthems of 2010 ‘Harry’. The track took Bare Noize’s profile to another level, amassing youtube hits into the millions they gained global recognition attracting the attention of major labels as Atlantic records and Polydor and more notably a young artist, yet to release a record, by the name of Skrillex, and as the saying goes…the rest is history!
