Scuba’s new album approaches

The Hotflush bossman is, without much of a question, one of electronic music’s key contemporary players. As such it’s no surprise we were pretty happy to hear of a new full length release set for next month.

February 27th sees the arrival of Personality, Scuba’s brand new LP, which will be released on his own aforementioned imprint. Paul Rose, as the man is also known, is renowned for his wide-ranging output, with production work touching on a variety of musical styles (as anyone who heard last year’s EP, Adrenalin, will certainly attest to).

The new album takes the form of 11 yet to be heard tracks, and represents the Londoner turned Berlin resident’s third studio long form effort, following 2008’s A Mutual Antipathy, and Triangulation 24 months later. Alongside the recorded work Scuba’s SUB:STANCE night, which currently can lay claim to parties in New York and his adopted hometown (Germany’s capital), has a view to expand further as 2012 ensues, suggesting the next year will be another significant one for the artist in question.
