London’s party crew No Fit State will be taking over an as yet unknown London location on January 1st for an evening and night full of no doubt merry, and possibly quite messy fun. Thankfully, while we can’t reveal the specifics of the address, the lineup is already out so there’s no problem sharing the details there.
And what finer points they are too. On the night, also known as New Year’s Day, you can find one of 2011’s better breakthrough artists, Julio Bashmore (pictured), playing records. This being the biggest party weekend of the year though the bookings go further than that of course, and those looking for more experience behind the turntables will no doubt be pretty happy to learn that David Moufang- Move D- will also be in attendance, showcasing his enviable DJ skills by mixing tracks that probably sound a little like the kind of thing he has himself produced for imprints like Warp, Compost, Uzuri, Workshop, Modern Love, liebe*detail and Running Back.
Geddes, the chief chap behind No Fit State, that label Murmur, and something called mulletover, will be on hand with another crate of beats too. Those after tickets for the event can simply get on the end of this link, with prices ranging from £8-£15, meanwhile an easy to digest run down of proceedings is below.
