Delving deep into the sub-bass styles, Spectrum continues to set a standard with its big lineups full of heavyweight names. And this NYE Joker makes a spectacular return to Spectrum! Bristol’s pioneering dubstep don, fresh from the recent release of his diverse and innovative debut album, has received critical acclaim across the board.
Alongside him is Breakage, whose music has won him new fans around the world. His Top 40, A-list anthem ‘Fighting Fire’ catapulted him into the limelight in 2011. And next year is set to be even bigger.
Rinse FM’s Roska will make his Spectrum debut alongside partner-in-crime Jamie George – who’ll be on microphone duties. And bonafide dubstep royalty Plastician also gives the bill that deeper dimension.
For those who like things that little bit heavier, Spectrum brings in two acts that are hotter than the sun right now, guaranteeing that 2012 will start with some serious bass-bin action in Brixton: Sigma and Delta Heavy are destined for big things in the next 12 months, after firmly establishing themselves as future stars of the bass music scene in 2011.
That’s one serious main room. And Spectrum NYE 2011 gets even bigger… One of the UK’s leading independent dance labels, Funkatech, brings together a killer lineup for a massive NYE party in Room 2, showcasing some of the best talent in bass music.
