Just last week we gave you the low down on Partizan, an event that took place in one of the smallest venues in the Northern capital. Now it seems another crew are ready to set up camp in the same space this weekend, making it clear why The Guardian Guide recently recommended the club.
Friday, November 25th sees Construct take over the Kraak Gallery in Manchester’s Northern Quarter for an evening with acclaimed beat creator Swayzak and UK techno veteran Billy Nasty. Tickets are limited to a ‘won’t-hang-about’ 150, meaning fortune will no doubt favour the organised.
Deep house, tech, and electronic aficionados Swayzak recently played their final date together at Fabric, so David Brown is now flying the flag solo. Apparently he has a new album pencilled in for next year, and we managed to track down this interview on Skiddle, in which he explains a little more about his plans for the future- which sound pretty exciting by all accounts.
As for Mr Nasty, our recent news piece on his work with Radioactiveman, and the forthcoming release on The Nothing Special, a new label run by Craig Richards, certainly got online folk talking. And, with over three decades spent behind the decks and in the studio, residencies at BLOC Weekend and headline sets at Holland’s Awakenings there are plenty more reasons than that to check him out. Tickets are available here, full details below, meanwhile the party’s Facebook activity can be found on the end of this link.
