As the press release for this one rightly points out, 2011 has been a year in which many respected dance imprints have celebrated a decade and a half of house, techno, electro, and just about any other debauchery you can think of. And now its the turn of one of the scene’s most celebrated organisations to do the same.
Obviously by the age things began way back in 1996 for Freerange Records, when friends Tom Roberts and Jamie Odell got together to set up an outlet for the latter’s two production monikers- Jimpster and Audiomontage. These days though it’s also the stable in which you can find the likes of Pezzner, Tony Lionni, and Alexkid to name but a few. So then, that’s the background info, here are the event details.
Tuesday, December 3rd is, rather strangely, the night in question, and London’s Corsica Studios the location (that’s SE1, close to Elephant & Castle tube). On the night imprint co-owner and A&R Jimpster will be putting in a performance, while the ever-popular Isolee will also be playing live. In addition to this you can also catch a full production show from Session Victim, and sets from Andre Lodemann, Craig Smith, Norm De Plume, Matt Masters, and Franc Spangler. Full information below, and the label’s website is also worth checking out here.
