MiMo hits East London with its first Secret Warehouse Party of 2011. On Saturday the 9th April MiMo will take over an undisclosed space, for a 2 room party you won’t forget. Get ready for some of the most talked about names in Underground House Music.
For many years Nima Gorji (Welt Recordings/Murmur/Cecille) has carved his own way in the international music world, achieving great success in Scandinavia through his own production as Black Powder, and events such as Verydisco, and then finally settling down in Ibiza in 2005. Devoting himself to the underground scene for many years now, Nima can often be seen playing at his favourite club, Ibiza Underground as a respected resident. Along with a floating of DJs and producers he is now part of the creative landscape of Ibiza Island, with his labels Welt Recordings and Welt Sounds. He has also had huge support from his releases on record labels VIVa MUSiC, murmur and Cecille.
In the last four years, Nima has been spinning worldwide in Spain, Japan, Romania, South America, Australia and everywhere in-between. His sets are always unique and surprising, seamlessly blending older music with new productions, whilst implementing his timeless love of vinyl in his legendary performances.
Kevin Griffiths (Tsuba/8 bit) is founder and label head of Tsuba, one of the UK’s most respected imprints, releasing deep, sexy underground house and tech house. Tsuba is the second most charted UK label on Resident Advisor and has put out 12-inch releases by Sasha Dive, Ethyl & Huxley, Dyed Soundorom and many more.. The London based dj has travelled all over the world, showcasing his talent at Fabric, Lost Baggage in Sydney, Zouk in Singapore, Snatch in Miami, City Hall in Barcelona to name a few.
The talent doesn’t stop there, Chris MiMo will supporting Nima and Kevin in the main arch. Ibiza favourites Dalton and Trench (Kaluki/rEJEKTS) will be headlining arch 2, alongside some of London`s finest. Expect a bone shaking sound system and superb music until the early hours.
