LCD Soundsystem annouce last ever show.

Its been on the cards for a while now, but LCD Soundsystem are now officially parting ways, with their last ever live performance taking place at Madison Sq Gardens in their home town of New York in April.

James Murphy’s groundbreaking band (in the lose term as their recordings pretty much have Murphy playing every part) have laid the way for hoards of dance-meets-bands acts, and have produced some of the greatest tracks of the last decade, with tunes like ‘Daft Punk is Playing at my House’, ‘All my Friends’, and ‘Losing my Edge’ all recieving huge critical aclaim.

Here’s hoping for some new projects from the DFA co-founder soon, as he bows out from one of the most pivital bands of recent years.
