Holland’s most esteemed bass music producer unveils his latest LP, on his new When In Doubt imprint. It’s not fast, but it is pretty clever, seen as everything from the acid-tinged off-beat techno to the dubstep riddims is constructed from disco samples. Not that you can tell.
They say repetitive dance is on the wane, and the culture surrounding such darkened rooms has changed. With that in mind, it’s good to see so many practitioners continuing to put out music that sounds like it were made on a factory floor.
And the first single sees the Dutch producer return to record shops with his trademark dubstep-techno sound on a release made available on just 300 blue vinyl copies. No reprints, or digital versions are expected.
