This new EP on Resonance records is a great coming together of some modern day house heroes. Behind the originals is Hot Creations associate Michael Jansens, a man very much on point right now, while the three remixes come from Richy Ahmed and Max Chapman. So far fans of Michael’s work include big wigs like Loco Dice, Maya Jane Coles and DJ T and this new EP is only likely to increase the length of that list.

Up first is Tunnel Vision, which is a cracking track thanks to its killer, slightly nagging bassline. Some nimble, sharp edged chords dance about up top as the b-line rolls on and house never really sounded better. Richy Ahmed, himself a Crosstown and Hot Creations favourite, turns in one stripped back and dubbed out warehouse mix, as well as a teeth clenching and whacked out tech house remix that will make floors really sweat. Also remixing this one is Max Chapman, and he does so with bulky drums and 90s New York feel. The EP is also filled out with two more originals, Everybody, a druggy, acid laced and freeform house jam at a quickened tempo, and finally Night Music, a pad laced feel good bit of house with main room synths and diva vocals that really get you where it hurts.
