Tief presents Voyage Direct with Legowelt, Kink, Tom Trago, Dexter

On Bank holiday Sunday the 26th August, Tief in collaboration with Dutch label Voyage Direct bring a very special line up to take over both of our rooms at Corsica StudiosVoyage Direct is a label series run by Tom Trago under the infamous ‘Rush Hour’ imprint. After playing at the Tief launch party back in September, Trago though it only right to hold his first label party with us at Corsica Studios.

Legowelt brings his incredible live set to headline the event. The analogue synth enthusiast has a rare and unique sense of humour, Legowelt’s productions – he is happy to admit – can either take off to the height to the charts (see 2002′s ‘Disco Rout’ for evidence), or can be ejected into distant space never to be heard again… but that’s the risks you take when experimenting as freely in the studio as does this man with obscure, forgotten sounds and twisted stuff a mile away from the dull dancefloor norm.

Releasing on Ovum, Liebe detail, Rush hour, Strahil Velchev a.k.a KiNK is an innovative, uncompromising producer, captivating dj and live performer from Bulgaria, incorporating in his record the very best examples of the electronic music with a KiNK twist. As a good friend of Trago’s, KiNK comes to play an extended DJ set, which we can not wait for!

Another member of the Dutch family; Dexter is a great addition to the line up. The Clone label boss is a true pioneer of the sound that has now shaped the countries house and techno music scene.

Awanto3 has been making a real name for himself recently butting out incredible tracks on Dekmental, Rush Hour and of course Voyage Direct. As well as DJing, Awanto will also team up with Trago to present a UK premier of their ‘Alfabet’ live set.

This line up topped off with a DJ set from Voyage Direct boss Tom Trago is sure to be a stormer!
