Out of Hand// Day/Night Roof Terrace Party with Spencer Parker & Jef K
A new, joint venture from two promoters who share the same basic values of a friendly crowd and great music.
We believe the key ingredients of a great party are simple:
great artists / great crowd / great venue
We don’t do secret locations, passwords and guestlist only.
We’re too excited about the talent we have playing and the amazing venue so we’re not holding anything back.
SPENCER PARKER /// JEF K /// BLACKHALL & BOOKLESS
will be tearing up the rooftop of the Bussey building in Peckham on 16th June 2012 with top support from Le Piscine and Spangland residents.
There’ll even be a Caribbean BBQ up on the terrace throughout the afternoon and a cocktail bar serving frosty bad boys to sip down in the afternoon sun, and who knows…
it might just get out of hand…
//Spencer Parker (Rekids, Tsuba)
He is quite simply one of Europe’s leading djs, his unique style of house music is in demand the world over and with his productions, remixes and re-edits being supported by names such as Radio Slave, Luciano, Dinky, Richie Hawtin, Steve Bug, Nic Fanciulli and Locodice, the future looks bright.
Spencer’s musical style is simply described best as, underground house music. Preferred record labels range from the techno stylings of Planet E, Perlon, Underground Resistance, Rekids and Relief, through to the uber-cool house of Rush Hour, SOM, Tsuba and Playhouse. A “typical” set from Spencer could include everything from acid house and techno to some cool jackin’ tracks and the odd trippy vocal. Now a resident of Berlin, Spencer has guested at all of the cities best clubs including Watergate, Bar 25, Arena, Wilde Renate and Weekend, as well as continuing his highly successful residency for the Rekids label, at the world famous Panorama Bar.
He stole the show at the recent Tsuba warehouse party in London and we couldn’t be happier to have him headlining in June.
//Jef K (Silver Network, Lola Ed)
A native of Paris, Jef K started mixing records in 1992 after spending nine months in London. His deep, groovy and sexy house sets made him quickly earn a reputation as one of the fastest rising DJs amongst the French house scene.
Jef had long time monthly residencies in prestigious clubs like Rex Club (Paris 1998 – 2003), Respect (Paris 1996 – 2008), Fuse (Brussels 2000- 2004) and Robert Johnson (Frankfurt 1999 – 2005).
He has since gone on to play clubs and festivals the world over, launch the Silver Network and Fast Forward FFWD record labels and record tracks with the likes of Chris Carrier and house music legend Chez Damier.
//Blackhall & Bookless (Jaunt>)
Blackhall and Bookless have over 4 years experience playing side by side, and countless more spent individually following the scene and expanding their musical knowledge. Two parts of the seven strong team that set up forward thinking underground night Jaunt in their hometown two years ago, the pair have since enjoyed two seasons hosting the legendary back room at Ibizan sunset strip bar Savannah, which has already led to further dates at the likes of Privilege and Space on the white isle to date.
With Jaunt> recordings also waiting in the wings, the product of their recent move into production, and their energy split perfectly between putting on their cutting edge clubnights as well as maintaining the enviable party atmosphere they are famed for, it’s with little doubt and much excitement that things start to get even busier for the pair.
