LEVEL 1 – GIZELLE SMITH AKA The ‘Golden Girl of Funk’ (LIVE) The title this multi-talented songstress quickly earned after storming from obscurity onto the funk scene some 10+ years ago, as the front woman of Hamburg-based funk band, The Mighty Mocambos. Get yourself ready for a juxtaposition of dramatic brass themes, softened and seduced by gospel and blues-tinged vocals, held together and propelled by an ever-present funk groove.

LEVEL 2 – The man with a plan and an un-insurable record collection – Legendary DJ SNOWBOY and resident SLST Vinyl head IAN WRIGHT mine the crates for more vintage 45s for an epic journey through the land of the rare groove and down right nasty Fonk.
Then in ROOM 3 – THE HAWAIIAN BOP TRIP. Your retrolicious host RICHIO SUZUKI joined by tasty 45 slinger GILES FRAMPTON and OSCAR ROMP to take you on an epic strictly retrolicious Rock & Roll, 50’s R N’ B, 60’s Soul & Motown, Vintage Ska & Latin journey from the love side. Aloha baby!
The SLST Line up completed in the RYE WAX / BASEMENT by REACH UP DISCO WONDERLAND Djs ANDY SMITH + NICK HALKES & CRISSY KYBOSH dropping 80’s boogie, soul, funk, disco and proto house, evoking the spirit and dipping into the soundtrack of legendary NYC clubs such as ‘Paradise Garage’ & ‘Studio 54’.
