FLAMMER DANCE BAND COMING IN HOT! Sat Aug 26 – Our Summer schedule is on fire baby as we continue to bring the heat and take no prisoners. The South London Soul Train presenting a very special show with an extraordinary band! Straight Outta Norway comes Afro, Psych, Funk and Disco Hybrids, the well unique and highly infectious FLAMMER DANCE BAND (Live). The 7 piece band bringing their own unmistakable Flammer Dance Band sound to the SLST live stage for an epic 90 minute set across outta audio space via South East London. With Guest host MUKATSUKU RECORDS head honcho DJ NIK WESTON handling the beats, breaks and positive upbeat soundtrack, you know that you’re in for one almighty good time at OMEARA London.

Flammer Dance Band is a 7 piece Norwegian psychedelic funk extravaganza energized by the funky sounds of the 70’s. Hypnotic rhythms, Bouncing bass, vibrating synths, dancing guitars and spiritual sax trips. A raw, impulsive and ever-changing live experience!
In 2023 Flammer teamed up with legendary Ghana funk artist “Rob”for a 2 week European tour, playing tracks from Rob’s amazing two first LPs, “Make It Fast” (1978) and “Funky Rob Way”(1977).

The South London Soul Train 2 room line up in ROOM 2, Time to enter the REACH UP DISCO WONDERLAND. Legendary DJs ANDY SMITH and NICK HALKES dropping 80’s boogie, soul, funk, disco and proto house, evoking the spirit and dipping into the soundtrack of legendary NYC clubs such as ‘Paradise Garage’ and ‘Studio 54′. A night highlighting the sounds that emerged as the 70’s, turned into the 80’s and the DNA of club music as we know it today was being written. The dance floor awaits

The South London Soul Train (as always) All rooms, taking all passengers on a Non-Stop Magical Mystery Tour through all things Too Damn Funky. P-Funk to Jazz Funk, Soul Jazz to Rare Groove N’ Stax, Brass, Breaks, Bop and Hop to Motown, Club Classics and Anthems.
However – Passengers are requested to check their Souls at the Station as this one’s for good time party people only! No Bass Wobbles Here, Only Love, Funk and Souuuuuuuul.
The South London Soul Train Runs 11pm – 4am on the last Saturday of each month (2023) at Omeara London + beyond. Entry £5-13 Adv from RA or £15 OTD at OMEARA London.
