Your dancefloor toasting host with the most Jazzheadchronic guiding you on a non stop journey to funky town via getdown city and boogie wonderland + beyond at The CLF Art Cafe.
JHC joined by one of the UKs freshest and most original Funk n’ Soul outfits – the simply unstoppable, soul shaking and truly funked up DAYTONER (LIVE).
LEVEL 1 – Daytoner (Live) – Band on stage at midnight
Producer / DJ / Live Band from Cornwall, UK supplying originals, edits and remixes for funk, soul and breaks DJs since 2009. Over the last 3 years, Daytoner’s live show has expanded to feature the soul power house of Lucy Richards on vocals, with support from Jack on trombone, tenor (and baritone) saxophone players, Paddy on bass and Moss providing the beats, samples, edits and FX fresh!

LEVEL 2 – Legendary DJ SNOWBOY and ANTHONY STURGEON mine the crates for more vintage 45s for an epic journey through the land of the rare groove and down right nasty Fonk.
ROOM 3 – Enter THE HAWAIIAN BOP TRIP. Your retrolicious host RICHIO SUZUKI joined by tasty 45 slingers THE OUT-A-SIGHT COLLECTIVE (Belgium) to take you on a retrolicious Rock and Roll, 50’s R N’ B, 60’s Soul and Motown, Vintage Ska and Latin journey from the love side.
The South London Soul Train 3 Floor / 4 room Line up completed in the RYE WAX BASEMENT by REACH UP DISCO WONDERLAND DJs ANDY SMITH + NICK HALKES dropping 80’s boogie, soul, funk, disco and proto house, evoking the spirit and dipping into the soundtrack of legendary NYC clubs such as ‘Paradise Garage’ and ‘Studio 54’.
The SLST Runs 10pm – 5am every Sat at The CLF Art Cafe / £5-13 Adv from RA or £15 OTD – Min of 500 Tix OTD.
