Sat Sep 14 (11pm-3am, £5/7) – The CLF Art Lounge celebrates 5 years of positive speakeasy vibes + chilled rooftop action in the heart of Peckham with a 2 floor session to truly dance for. Venue Founder and well hot Funk/Soul/Hop DJ JAZZHEADCHRONIC Mickey Smith (The South London Soul Train) dropping a celebratory good time set in the lounge, alongside Brass Band Stage Stormers, the always righteous FAT BRASS BAND (LIVE). FAT BRASS dropping the 2nd of 2 sets deep in the Lounge, post earlier midnight Live set alongside local legend DJ ULYSSE up on the roof at The CLF Art Lounge and Roof Garden.

Fat Brass are an explosive lip-splitting brass tour de force that flip samples from the very bottom of the crate, be it a DJ Premier instrumental or a N*E*R*D B-side. Composed of the creme-de-la-creme of up-and-coming horn players and drummers, the band seamlessly blends into one giant wall of sound that you can hear coming across the horizon way before you spot the trumpet bells glinting in the sunshine.

‘JAZZHEADCHRONIC’ DJ MICKEY SMITH has been successfully promoting and DJ hosting his own progressive – eclectic jazz fused globalistic events for over thirty years. Renowned for his positively aggressive and highly charged eclectic good time sets of soul, funk, groove, motown, disco, latin and or future sets of broken to afro beat, jungle to drum and bass + hip hop – One things for sure, whenever or wherever Jazzheadchronic Mickey Smith plays, the dance floor blows up and the crowd always, but always feel it.
