Between them First Word and The Doctor’s Orders have done more than most to help the shape the UKs Hip-Hop and beats scene through a combination of their releases and events.
Although they have worked together many times in various ways this is the first full collaborative event between the two that showcases talent loved by both. Kidkanevil & Mr Thing have had releases on the First Word, including the brilliant series of Record Store Day 45s, and are often found on line ups for The Doctor’s Orders. Joining them on stage are the driving forces behind both the label and the promotions in the shapes of DJ Gilla and Spin Doctor.
