So who is on board you ask ?
Psychemagik -Tucked away in their remote cosmic forest studio, Psychemagik are busy welding together a whole universe of lush, delirious, tripped out audio sonics for their long awaited studio album due for release late summer 2011.The first official 12″ from this LP ‘Valley Of Paradise/Star Lazer’ is due for release on limited edition, hand numbered, coloured vinyl in June 2011.As well as releasing edits on the super chic History Clock label, their stalwart end of nighter and festival anthem (Summer Of Love edit of Fleetwood Mac’s Everywhere) has been supported by Dj’s all around the world including Rob Da Bank on BBC Radio 1 and Chris Coco on Melodica Radio Ibiza. Other remixes and edits have also been getting plays by Lauren Laverne and Nemone on BBC Radio 6 and they have just featured a guest dj mix for Annie Nightingale for Radio1. Recent remixes include Metronomy, Time & Space Machine and Azari & lll. They also run their own ‘Discotheque Wreckers’ imprint, a home for their less known edits. In between digging for rare records and making beats, Psychemagik also have a reputation as the go to guys for ultra rare records you won’t find anywhere else, counting Soulwax, Lovefingers, Q-Tip, Fake Blood, Tom Middleton & Faze Action amongst others, as satisfied customers. On top of all this, they’ve also just released a kaleidoscopic, mind bending compilation on Light Sounds Dark Records ‘After The Void’ which has had love from Todd Terje, 2 Many Dj’s, Lexx and Jaz to name a few..

Boogie Cartel- The Boogie Cartel have been one of the success stories of this year, so it seems only right to have them welcoming in 2012 at The Horse and Groom. If you haven’t been to a ‘Boogie Cartel presents’ night, where have you been hiding? The foursome’s regular residents-only parties have been among the most intense disco get-downs of the year, and have had attracted the attention of DJs and clubbers alike. They’ve shared the decks with disco stalwarts like Greg Wilson, Yam Who? and Jacques Renault this year, as well as hitting the studio to flood the dancefloor with their own productions very soon. Expect a combination of disco, 80s electro and late-night soul forming their signature sound, ensuring not a single speck of dust is allowed to settle on the dancefloor.

Mark Pharoah- An aspiring DJ artist & Producer whom over a number of years has entertained a variety of crowds & lovers of house throughout the UK. For the love of House and his heavily influenced and energetic sets from the Detroit Black Music movement and not forgetting the balearic summer of love has led him to play alongside a number of esteemed DJ’s such as Ray Mang, Grant Nelson, Trojan Sound System to name but a few. This year he set up Systematic putting together his own parties with the emphasis on providing deep sounds for a deep generation. If you like your house deep, dark and melodic then you won’t go far wrong here.

The Unwanted family – Upstairs
After a successful year of promoting at the Horse and Groom, the Unwanted Family have been invited back to celebrate on the biggest night of the year. This New Years Eve sees the Unwanted team hosting the entire upstairs and they intend to do it in style! This party is going to be the biggest and best yet with a full club re-dress, boosts in the sound and lighting departments and giveaways! London’s favourite Disco-Pub will be re-invented for one night only!

Musically on the night the Unwanted Family will provide their usual party atmosphere but spread across two rooms, the upstairs main room will be hosting a full fat house and disco sound throughout the night and their trademark room three, The Secret Selectors Saloon, will be providing a welcome selection of funk, soul, disco, latin and reggae. If you ever wondered what is meant by ‘the Unwanted party ethos’ then now’s the time to find out. Expect both rooms to be full of the fun-loving Unwanted crowd, providing only the widest smiles and a great party atmosphere! As a special announcement the Unwanted family are very happy to have Freerange Records’ Matt Masters down to play his trademark deep and punchy house sound, Matt will be driving the crowd stir crazy in his ‘Run-Up to the Count-Down’ set!

Mr Venom: The man behind the funk fuelled fun, Mr Venom will be hosting the Secret Selectors Saloon with a host of friends. This man knows how to bring a crowd to the boil and his show stopping sets are not to be missed.

Matt Masters [Freerange / Saved / Alive]: Freerange radio host Matt Masters has been making quite a stir amongst the house world, putting out fantastic remixes on Freerange, Save Room Records, and Bubba’s Alive imprint. Matt is also due to have his first full Freerange Release in the new year with some very exciting remixers (but we can’t say who, it’s a secret…). Matt’s Wayward nights (ran with Delusions of Grandeur radio host Norm De Plume) have been packing the Horse and Groom’s dance floors for the last few months and are a credit to his musical tastes. Matt will be taking the crowd up to the countdown, it’s time to get excited!!
