Saints Don’t Sleep return to Jamm with a fantastic lineup – legendary UK electronic pioneer Matthew Herbert and innovative and diverse producer, label owner and DJ Sven Weisemann.
After two jam-packed Summer shows hosting some crazy talent from across the pond including DJ Bone, Andres and Patrice Scott it is time to move into our Autumn/Winter series. Our next show features one of England’s finest gems and another artist who provided the standout set of Free Rotation this year…

To call Matthew Herbert an electronic musician or a DJ would be an understatement and a huge disservice to his career. The man is a modern visionary who’s work includes some of the most creative musical art ever produced.
‘A Nude’… a record made purely from natural sounds from the human body, ‘One Pig’… created from field recordings of one pig for 24 hours. Add this to his astounding live sets, his big band jazz works, his curation for films and you have an artist who has pushed his creativity to the limit, his creativity is at the forefront of everything he does, pushing boundaries further than anyone else. None of this the above even touches on the fact that the man has produced some of the finest house and techno records we have ever heard. It is an absolute honour to have Herbert himself come down to Brixton Jamm and DJ for us.

Sven has been on our list for years having witnessed him play masterful sets around the globe for many years now. Known for his eclectic, deep selection the man really is incredible. His set at Free Rotation this year was absolutely mind blowing, playing a set that covered so many areas of dance music, setting the tone for the rest of the evening perfectly. Its our pleasure to finally have him down to spin for us and support Matthew.
