DJ Cheeba, hailed as one of the most progressive audio visual artists around today, has found an audience world wide with his unique style of turntablism and video manipulation. Known for his cut and paste style of turntablism, audiences can expect a high paced trip through styles made to make you dance, think and smile. More than just a DJ, Cheeba is a audio visual artist known for pushing technology and blowing minds.
Darren Knott (alias DK), DJ, music maker, radio producer and presenter, is a key component and one of the driving forces behind the legendary ‘Solid Steel’ radio show. Previous tours include the well received US tour with Coldcut and a European Tour with fellow Ninja artists Kid Koala and PC (DJ Food). DK has teamed up with Ninja Tune on various gigs, DJing both nationally and internationally, from spinning vinyl in a steaming hot Turkish bath in Hungary, on a cold Swiss mountain and in amongst an unexpected riot in Greece (opening up for the Prodigy), to name but a few.
During the Ninja Tune XX 20th Anniversary celebrations DK worked alongside DJ Food to put together a bespoke AV set of Ninja Tune and Big Dada only releases. They toured this set throughout Europe, America and Japan with a full roster of label mates including Coldcut, Roots Manuva, Toddla T, Kid Koala and DJ Kentaro.
Bass6: Among his many accomplishments include, the Official World Champion in 2015 with The Beatbox Collective, collaborating with a range of artists and musicians, full solo performances, a number 1 music app on the iphone with ‘iambeatbox’, appearances on TV and the list goes on and on and on. An extremely energetic, charismatic, and talented performer!
