The Volks is one of the longest running clubs in Brighton (over 20 years) and is THE authentic underground venue in Brighton. We’re no frills, no VIP areas, just the best clubbing atmosphere around. We’re on Brighton Seafront, we open ‘very’ late and our drinks prices are more pub than club. With a varied schedule of events ranging from Drum & Bass nights, to Psy Trance, to reggae / dub , Ska + live acts, plus plenty of excellent daytime events over the summer, there’s always something going on.

DJ Sly began his journey as a DJ back in ’92, and quickly gained a reputation as a DJ for the dancefloor, securing his first residency in ’94 alongside close friend MC Shaydee at Telepathy. It was at Telepathy where they met Bassman in ’96 a few years later, and the three, alongside MC Trigga formed the Shadow Demon Coalition.
MC Trigga has been MCing since he was 15 years old, he has a unique voice and style that cannot be described. He gained his reputation by teaming up with MC Bassman and becoming one of the most demanded MC duo in the country.
Turno is one of the leading names of the new generation of Drum & Bass artists, both as a first rate producer and a DJ that entertains the crowd.
