SHT Performing Live as part of their European Tour to mark their 20th Anniversary. With ample pre and post concert support supplied by your SLST host with the most Jazzheadchronic. The Jazzhead dropping live bombs of eclectic Funk in all it’s forms, all eve long at The CLF / Bussey.

Screaming Headless Torsos are back with a vengeance. After after releasing their highly anticipated album,”Code Red” in 2014 there’s simply no stopping them. Although they toured regularly, SHT took a 9 year hiatus from recording before making “Code Red”, produced by Gregg Fine and featuring two tracks produced by 14-Time Grammy Award winning rock producer, Ron Saint Germaine. “Code Red” given 4 stars by Rolling Stone Magazine and was a top pick by Playboy and Warp.
“Code Red” also hosts a roster of guest artists including James Valentine, guitarist of Maroon 5, Bernie Worrell, keyboard legend of Parliament Funkadelic, and on vocoder synth, Casey Benjamin, 2013 Grammy-winner from the Robert Glasper Experiment.
Screaming Headless Torsos are the genre-bending funk rock band founded by guitar virtuoso, professor, and Guggenheim fellow, David Fiuczysnki. “Fuze” is a self-described musical hunter & gatherer, a jazz musician that doesn’t want to play jazz. The Torsos began there career in the big-label system of the 90’s and have since re-booted themselves as an indie-rock band. Their debut album, “Screaming Headless Torsos” (Warner/Discovery 1995) was described by Musician Magazine as “brilliantly blending jazz know-how with a love for heavy riffs.” The Guardian, wrote “SHT are like a postmodern Led Zep, only funkier and cooler..”
