Sat June 04 – Time for our annual The South London Soul Train Prince Special. A celebration of the life and work of Famed singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, the ultimate showman aka Prince Rogers Nelson.
We’ve listened to the people and this year will be even more Princified, your host with the absolute most Jazzheadchronic joined by a right purple plethora of Prince Heads, bringing it like it’s 1999.
From around 1130pm to 4am Level 1 bathes in the purest of Purple Rain. Live and DJ!
First up Prince Revelation hits the stage. Uncanny Lookalike, Soundalike Performer Mark Anthony, one of the UKs finest Prince Tribute acts here to bring you a red hot 30min solo live show channeling the spirit & in honour of the man who used to have no name.
PR Followed by Slst faves and one of the best Brass Bands anytime, anywhere – Brassroots performing a strictly Prince Live Set in An Explosive Brass Band Stylee. Kiss to Sexy MF, Moh. Things about to get seriously wild in the place, roof about to get truly blown off the sucka.
Then, continuing the Prince theme step up special guest Dj Marlon Celestine dropping a purple themed 3hr set. A complete Prince Nut he started out over 20 years ago hosting and Djing strictly Prince, Prince Extended Family & The Minneapolis Sound specialist parties across London and is armed and ready to play hard!

2/F, Funks gonna seriously hit the floor as Legendary vinyl 45 Tag Team Snowboy & Jazzcotech warrior Perry Louis unleash more Soul and Funk Beasts on 45 direct to the dance floor and whole ah you soul.
Room 3, it’s The Northern Soul Room. The Mighty Rob Messer, Craig Jamieson, Claire Kalvis dropping yet more Positively Seismic Heavyweight Northern Soul Joints without mercy on the dancefloor.
The SLST 4 floor line up completed in the Basement by Gilla and Wah Wah 45’s serving up more piping hot joints from the world wide soul underground.
