Hawaiian Bop residents joined by the totally amazing, completely swinging, vintage Rhythm n’ Blues Band – Betty & The Bootleggers Live in concert from around 11pm.
Betty and The Bootleggers are a fantastic new 4 piece Rhythm & Blues band hailing from North London.
Performing some of the best R&B, Rock ‘n’ Roll and Blues songs from the 1940’s, 1950s and 1960’s they cover the likes of Lavern Baker, Ruth Brown, Big Mama Thornton, Little Richard, Etta James, Wanda Jackson & Varetta Dillard.
The band is fronted by Betty Wilde, a pin up siren songstress with sass Her Bootleggers include The Thorn, a cool cad playing dirty riffs on his mighty Falcon, Mac on the Upright Bass and James on drums.
With Richio S and Captain Romp spinning strictly Rock’n’Roll, strictly 40’s to 50’s R’n’B, 60’s Soul and Motown, Vintage Ska, Latin + so much more, you know that this is one night you ain’t gonna wanna miss.
Time to drink up some Bop & celebrate hard.
