Studio 338 Opening Party at | 6th February
London’s foremost club space Studio 338 is all ready to kick off what is sure to be another jam-packed year with its infamously raucous opening party. Taking place on 6th February 2016, it will be headlined by Route 94, Tania Vulcano, wAFF and Anek.
Studio 338 is famed for its no-expense-spared approach to production, for its exclusive party brands, rare headline sets and surprise events. Over winter it is investing once more, with a new double-height steel and glass atrium being installed from January onward, thereby ensuring that it’s as fresh and unique as ever in 2016.
Route 94 is a new school house hero, with many big hits under his belt. Drawing equally from the jacking momentum of Chicago and New York house and the sub-loaded sounds of his London home, he puts them out on only the best labels, gets played by Skream, Seth Troxler and many more, and headlines everywhere from Glastonbury to Snowbombing.
Next up is Tania Vulcano. The Uruguay born, Spanish-based DJ has been synonymous with Circo Loco, Ibiza’s hedonistic, colourful and crazy Monday party, since before most people had even heard of it. She was amongst the first ever DJs to play the party, and there’s a good chance she’ll be the last having been affectionally nicknamed the “First Lady of Circo Loco”. Her skills in the booth are unquestionable – an exceptional choice for this opening party.
wAFF, is a UK producer and DJ who has served up bombs on Cocoon and Hot Creations, as well as being a resident at DC10. He has a rolling techno sound that is ripe for big open spaces, and has also been picked up by the excellent Moon Harbour label, amongst others. Lastly, Viva duo Anek bring their tech house sass and know how to roll out the jams and keep feet moving from dusk til dawn.
This opening party is sure to blow away the cobwebs, dust off those dancing shoes and get you in the mood once more, so make sure you get down early and don’t miss a beat.
