Hey! The party’s over here! A Friday nighter ’til 4.30am with 2 floors.
Upstairs it’s Smoke & Mirrors spin-off Tape Modern, rewinding to the musical past at the hands of Smoke & Mirrors DJ Rock Hunter, with 90s/00s Classics & Retro/Pop Anthems to keep you dancing all night.
Downstairs there’s a Soul, Funk, Breaks & House mash-up party with fortnightly resident DJ Master Level, amping things up to a cool crowd who love their music.
Rock Hunter is the main resident DJ for Smoke & Mirrors, in Camden for 5 years and now at 333 since May.
Well-versed in anything from Motown to disco to pop to rock, in the last year alone he’s played at Reading Festival’s Silent Disco, Alexandra Palace, The Underworld, Imperial College Student Union, Kopparberg Urban Forest in Dalston, for Casino Royale at London Fields and at Smoke & Mirrors’ party this year in Benicassim, Spain.
DJ Master Level has been at the heart of Shoreditch club life from the start. One of the original Mother Bar DJs, back when weeknights upstairs could be even more riotous than weekends, he’s played pretty much everywhere in a one-mile radius of the 333, including Floripa, The Book Club and East Village. when he’s not being our fortnightly Friday resident, of course.
