Durty Tango (Empire Ldn Radio) is smashing it on Sunday nights, with our Free Entry Illusion party, mixing up House & Club Classics, Pop, Trap, Edm & more until 3.30am.
Straight out of Hackney, Tango’s always had a passion for music. He bought his first pair of turntables when he was 13 and started to mix UK Grime. A year later he bought his first CD Players and started playing genres such as R’n’B, Hip Hop & House. Since then he’s won a DJ competition award for the best DJ act of Batchwoods, came 3rd in the UK for King of the Decks and YouTube mixes have got him 400,000 views since 2009. As his DJing career has progressed, he’s even been booked abroad, in Cyprus, Spain and Australia.
He was first influenced by the skills and originality of DJ EZ and he admired the work rate of DJ Scottie B. This made him want to be the best DJ out there, creating an exclusive party atmosphere at events, for people who love music. As well as his residency for us, he works regularly at Club Veeda in Hertfordshire and has a radio show on Empire Ldn.
He’s also performed alongside DJ EZ, Heartless Crew, Lethal B, Sound Boy, Dj Ironik, Wiley, Boy Better Know, Chipmunk, Gemma Fox, Ndubz, Digga/Mclean, DJ Scottie B, Donaeo, DJ Hotsteppa, Artful Dodger, Tinie Tempah, Shaggy, Egypt, M.I.L.A.D and loads of others.
