DC7 present Be As One at The Steelyard at | 5th June
Techno fans need to add June 5th to their diary, because on this day Shlomi Aber rolls into London with his hit making label Be As One. Playing at the hot new venue that is The Steelyard, the event will also see Spanish techno titan Paco Osuna play with Gel Abril, Markus Suckut and Tekart.
The Steelyard is an 800 capacity underground arch venue in the Cannon Street area that makes use of three adjoined arches and has one impressive main room. Huge speakers front, middle and back ensure high quality sound permeates your every sense, and subtle lighting lends the whole room a cathedral like elegance that is sure to make for some near religious experiences on the dance floor. An old industrial building that’s been beautifully converted, The Steelyard has plenty of original features that are officially listed for their historical importance, and all in all it makes for a refreshing addition to the capital’s scene.
Shlomi Aber is a techno titan who runs his own musical empire in the form of his Be As One label. This summer he is to be an expert at the Emerging Ibiza festival on the White Isle and has also finished another latest and greatest EP on his own label that is sure to be the soundtrack to many wild nights on dance floors all over the world.
Joining him will be Paco Osuna, a world wide techno talent who releases on labels like M_nus, Plus 8, Spectral, Clink or Bla LTD, headlines at Sonar and is the ideas-man behind Mindshake Records.Through devotion and vocation, the technocratic DJ and producer has become one of the primary techno tastemakers in the world. Also on the bill is Gel Abril, a Be As One artist with his own singular sound, plus Markus Suckut, a German star with credits on labels like Cocoon, Prism and many other great labels.
All in all this is sure to be a top techno session at one of the best new venues in London.
