Familia is well known for presenting the unexpected and September’s instalment does exactly that by bringing together Re.you & Rampa as RAR live and André Galuzzi on the East London Movement hosted Terrace. The Ground Floor is set to rocket skyward as Elrow’s Marc Maya and Raul Mezcolanza make their first appearance on the same bill here in London, and with them they bring the soundtrack to one of the planets most celebrated parties to Egg London.
André Galuzzi’s releases on labels such as Cocoon and Cadenza, a debut album release last year and his unique musically flowing sets at Berghain or wherever he tours have given him a reputation for being one of the most respected artists around.
Alongside André is Rampa and Re.You’s Live Show, which is set to put the Flipside Sound System truly through its paces. The unparalleled sound of RAR Live is showcased when they come together and is as much revered as their individual accomplishments, between them having released on labels such as Mobilee, Keinemusik, Souvenir, Gigolo, Strictly Rhythm and Cocoon.
As well as prime Resident appearances at the worldwide clubbing Institution Elrow, seven years ago Marc Maya became a fixture at Florida 135 and soon after one of the only Residents at the International Festival of gigantic proportions- the Monegros Desert Festival.
Joining him will be Raul Mezcolanza, a man who over the past few years has been conscientiously evolving, perfecting and mastering his own style and sound, with releases on Suara, Octopus, Bitten, 1605, Loose Records and Analytic among others. it’s not uncommon for his tracks to enter in the top 10 of the most important sales charts around. Raul’s sets are filled with energy, forcefulness and outstanding grooves gaining him as well as Marc a reputation for being the main Residents of Florida 135 the ‘Spanish Techno Cathedral’ and of course the world renowned Elrow.
Popular London party, East London Movement, bring the sounds of Andrea Giudice, Mathieu Mirande and the full ELM vibe, whist Dirty Fresh Laundry and Leading Astray take the reins in the Loft. The exclusive Familia Residents kick start the night in a style the faithful followers have become accustomed to, whilst Misfit mark their first birthday party spreading their celebration throughout Apothecary and huge Outdoor Terrace in all it’s end of Summer glory.
