Twisted Society presents Alex Picone, Clive Henry & Alex Celler at Village Underground | 6th August

At 6pm as the lights begin to dim, A twisted society’s time to begin, It’s out with the old and in with the new, Leave behind the feeling of Déjà vu….A party like no other is about to descend on London – one that will transport you to an altered reality where the lighting, sound and surrounding artwork will play on each and every one of your senses. A night spent in our Twisted Society will present you a place of wonder, awe and escapism. A place you’ll never want to leave, a party that you’ll never want to end.

For our first event, we are setting up home in Village Underground where we will be bringing in our own lighting technician and a special set of surprises. We open the doors at 6PM until 4AM during which time the venue will be transformed in to our Twisted Society. We invite you to join us and not one but three headline DJs who will provide Twisted Society with our soundtrack for the night.

Cadenza Records’ Alex Picone has been DJing since the mid-90s. His wealth of experience is evident in his ability to encapsulate the mood and energy of the crowd through his music. A regular alongside such luminaries as Luciano, Richie Hawtin and Ricardo Villalobos, Alex Picone is a musical master to behold. His experience spinning at clubs including Cocoon, Watergate and Fabric, has gifted him a deep understanding of the dancefloor, making Alex a perfect choice for our Twisted Society.

Clive Henry will be bringing his dark and tribal sound from the floors of DC-10 to Village Underground. A DJ who has continued to keep it strictly underground, Clive Henry’s days at the Ibiza mecca shaped many a DJ’s career, blown away by the deepness of his sound and his immeasurable talent. Clive has influenced an entire generation, be it through his productions as one half of Peace Division or through one of his legendary DJ sets. Clive’s deep and dark music will bring an added aesthetic to the evening’s proceedings.

Alex Celler. Our third headliner has had an immensely successful production career, carving out tune after tune of dancefloor bombs. His pairing up with London lady Anthea to release tracks on Cecille and Freak n Chic brought him worldwide recognition and he’ll be supplying us with a night of the very best twisted music.

Supporting our three headliners are three DJs who have been playing in London for quite some time. Dan Farserelli, Anderson and Jack Deemester can often be found in the dead of night playing for a heaving dancefloor of appreciative clubbers. We invite them to join our Twisted Society and help transport you to the world of the unknown.
