After what as to be one of our hottest and happiest Easters on record, we’re back to drive a little May Bank Holiday mayhem with a line up that reads like a who’s who of the London underground spanning all the way back to the second summer of love. Say what? House music all day long.

Colin Dale (Abstrakt Dance/Wildlife-Am)
He’s nothing short of a techno legend – Mr Abstrakt Dance, host of the ground-breaking Kiss FM show which bought the likes of Hawtin, Pullen, Garnier, Saunderson, et al to the masses. Over 20 years Colin has run countless rammed, sweaty nights including Deep Space Electric Boogie, Vapour Space, Deep and Jelly. He has recorded for Obsessive, Logic, Sensei and Visitor, and is a globetrotting guest at clubs such as Fabric, Rex, Pasha (Buenos Aires) and Love (Brazil). A prolific producer, Colin runs his own label Abstrakt Dance, offering a funky take on everything from off- kilter electro to thumping tech-house.

J B (EBM,Retox)

On the deck duties since the earliest days of acid house, Jon Barnet has spun his inimitable brand of sinuous electronica alongside the likes of Derrick May and Tony Humphries. He once held a residency at New York’s Sullivan Rooms and was a regular guest at Centrofly. The man behind countless Dance Wicked parties, Jon is now more often found ripping up the dancefloor at Retox, Nomad, Fabric and EBM. His forthcoming releases include collaborations with Hipp-E and Pure Science.

Andy Mac (Loaded, Skint)

After honing his talents at Brighton’s Escape Club in the early nineties, Andy ran Club Foot for 5 years booking guests like Derrick Carter, Carl Craig and Armand Van Helden. He’s played across the globe and at most of the seminal UK house nights including, the Hacienda Back to Basics and the Sub Club. As well as spending 14 years as Skint’s label manager, he has many dancefloor hits to his credit as half of Mighty Dub Kats and through collaborations with with Phat’s and Todd Terry.

Rhythm Plate/YSE (Ornate, Lost My Dog, Winding Road)

As a purveyor of finely crafted syncopated rhythms and heavy melodies with outgoing quirkiness, Rhythm Plate aka YSE spins and crafts music that defines his take on underground house better than words ever could. The success of seminal tracks like Bounce Back on Lost My Dog have won him a formidable reputation and remixing work with some of the best respected artists and labels on the scene. His recent release, Drawn at Dawn on Ornate is already a Kerfuffle classic and he’s currently working on new releases with Burnski and Phil Weeks.

Alison Marks (Dogmatic)

Alison’s early Muzik Magazine success some 15 years ago has won her residencies at Turnmills, Propaganda in Moscow and La Sala in Columbia. She has played to over 15,000 people at The Exit festival in Serbia and spent two years living and working across Russia. She has a new release coming out with Leah Floyeurs as ‘Wallflower’ on Zombie Soundsystem plus a solo track called ‘The Golden Dress’ on Russian label Lichen records.

Corin Martin
Corin was resident for MTV Europe parties and has DJ’d around the world at top nights like Pierre Cardin’s Palais Boules party in Cannes and the Cham Jam festival in Chamonix. His other residencies include the Matrix in Reading and Glastonbury Festival alongside the likes of Alistair Whitehead, John Kelly and Lenny Fontana.
Joe Volpeliere

Joe’s own brand of warm, groove based electronic house has helped define the sound of Brighton’s premier clubs including Audio, The Ocean Rooms and The Zap Club, He moved to Chamonix France 3 years ago where he has been DJing at parties for the past decade including a residency at the legendary ‘Deluded’ nights and at La Cantina Club.
