We here at DEFINITION HQ, believe in unity not division, so have decided to bring together record spinners from hand-picked, high quality underground record labels and parties…
Our headliner for this party is someone we have the pleasure of welcoming back to the 1s and 2s…DeadEcho is simply what we define as a great duo of characters and soundblenders with a special charisma of making people move with their music! Their previous set at DEFINITION a few months back was an absolute pleasure for all those who listened to it, so it has naturally been a desire for us to have them back…if you’re into dancing to fantastically echoe grooves…then this is something you can’t miss!
Making his DEFINITION debut will be none other than Yiannis Balkizas, a man whose talent for music is derived from his deep rooted love for it. Yiannis’ sound is about the moment; the one you wish would never end. He believes the music and people are what make a party one to remember. And so does our resident Tony Loi, who will be returning after having played a fantastic set on our Underground Movements party. Expect a blend of underground and sunshine sounds from these two, a mix which will bring a feel good sensation to all those lucky to hear it.
For our next choice of back to back to sets, we have invited two DJs who absolutely tore the house down with the high quality of their music picks on a recent DEFINITION party: Charlotte Michelle 11th and Montana Cruz, two track selectors who apart from being highly popular characters, have been known for playing outstanding tracks no other DJs carry in their DJs bags. Needless to say, everyone in the DEFINITION family is very much looking forward to being elevated through music with the combination of their sound. Get ready to go deep, get ready to feel high!
Joining the dots will be Joe Le Groove and Jon Vamp. Joe, making his long awaited DEFINITION debut, will be taking a short break from spending time at the studio to join forces as well as knowledge with our resident Jon Vamp. We have known and liked Joe’s work for a long time, however due to his heavy schedule, we have only now been able to secure his services for what promises to be something special and wonderful.
Finally, we are honoured and happy to invite the residents of This Is Not Serious, East London’s free and ever growing Thursday party. Having impressed DEFINITION’s programmer with recent sets we heard them play at their monthly party, it came as a natural decision to feature Alex Kleve and Anthony Nidis on the controls for a fun-filled unserious back to back set.
DEFINITION is a party originating from our desire to demonstrate the quality and depth presently existent in a variety of electronic music genres and sub-categories. Focusing on the brilliance and excellence of tech and deep house but always finding time and space for introducing new and pioneering sounds…and as far as vibes are concerned…we are a warm atmosphere party consisting of a friendly-attitude crowd.
So there you have it. We are back at The Horse and Groom and we’re going to party just the way we like to with a superb night of musical entertainment featuring only the freshest, sexiest and downright fiercest music around. With a line-up like this you just know it’s going to rock. Let’s not forget the stylish and lively crowd too who like dress up to get down and party like there’s no tomorrow.
