The South London Soul Train drops a red hot 4 floor, 5 club night mashup of epic proportions, with (LEVEL 1) your host with the absolute most JAZZHEADCHRONIC dropping an SLST 1 Floor heavyweight get down, that’ll leave you screaming fo mo fo sho!!! The Jazzhead joined by dynamic stage damagers The CORRESPONDENTS (Live) + Incognito DJ AJ KWAME here to mash up the place with Maximum taste at The CLF Art Cafe.
LEVEL 1 – The CORRESPONDENTS (LIVE) – Band on stage at Midnight.
The Correspondents consist of singer Mr Bruce and producer Chucks. Both growing up in South London, they formed in 2007 and within two years had taken their hi-octane genre-blending dance music from house parties to festival main stages. Expect to dance well harder y’all!
LEVEL 2 – we pay homage (part 1 of 2) to one of the greatest DJs to have ever graced the decks. Talking about The late great Paul Trouble Anderson (RIP). A final ever BUMP & HUSTLE MUSIC, celebrating it’s 6 year anniversary, featuring soulful house, disco and remix legends and friends of Paul, The Mighty PHIL ASHER + RICKY MORRISON doing what they do, ALL NIGHT LONG.
LEVEL 2 / ROOM 2: KEITH LAWRENCE takes to the decks to deliver another ‘red hot and steaming’ strictly 70’s to 90’s session in TRU-SKOOL BEATS. All tunes dropped hard, in earnest and without mercy!
LEVEL 3 – We hand over to registered Hip Hop dancefloor demolition experts MAIN SQUEEZE – MO FINGAZ + BOBAFATT for another all-night throwdown of heavyweight proportions. Hip Hop, Funk, Soul, Swing, Dancehall, Garage, Grime, Jungle, D&B, Broken Beats and beyond. Nuff said.
The SLST Mash Up completed In BASEMENT by THE RYE WAX DISCOMITES. Rye Wax residents exploring the deeper side of Disco. Rare Cuts to Classics, Jump Up to Get Down.
The SLST Runs 10pm – 5am every Sat at The CLF Art Cafe / £5-13 Adv from RA or £15 OTD – 500 TIX OTD!
