NINA is a German Synthpop/Synthwave singer-songwriter based in London, but not to be confused with 80s singer Nina Hagen. NINA’s tracks have been widely used on TV shows, adverts and games world-wide and she’s known as the “Queen of Synthwave” for her characteristic synthwave and retrowave sound and aesthetic. She’s toured as the opening act for Erasure in their US tour in 2014 and she reached #6 on the Shazam charts when her song “My Mistake” was used in a Mercedes Benz advert in main stream European TV channels in 2015.
KNIGHT$ is a UK artist with a flair for penning memorable electronic pop. With one foot firmly in the present, and a discerning knowledge of music’s past, KNIGHT$ might just be the newcomer to occupy your sound system this year and next. KNIGHT$ holds undeniable magnetism live, but there’s a palpable substance to all he turns his hand to. The Outland team describe his uber cool vibe as Kajagoogoo meets ABC in a retro games dance arcade.
