The SLST putting a new carriage on the tracks and keeping the last Sat of the month strictly good time OMEARA London sessions rolling. Kicking off with an epic Larry Levan & Paradise Garage Disco Special dedicated to the happy freak on and heavyweight dance.
SLST resident + guest host / Reach Up Disco Wonderland DJ CRISSY KYBOSH joined by dope disco chronicler and walking encyclopaedia of sound, DJ HISTORY. Both DJs here to deliver an earnest 6hr tribute to one of the greatest DJs to ever don a pair of headphones and truly move the crowd. Talkin bout LARRY LEVAN (RIP) and his highly influential / pivotal NYC decade long residency at Paradise Garage + classic dancefloor productions for the likes of Inner Life, Gwen Guthrie and Chaka Khan (To name but a few). Believe us when we say, we gonna party like it’s 1977-1987 at OMEARA London.
Expect a truly hot disco journey through the sounds of Tanna Gardner to Thelma Houston via Gwen Guthrie, Loretta Holloway, Front-line Orchestra, First Choice, D-Train, Central Line to Chicago via Marshall Jefferson, Grace Jones & Beyond.
Plus we got more in ROOM 2 / THE NORTHERN SOUL ROOM. The Legendary ROB MESSER and MARCO FACING dropping the platters that absolutely always will matter. The choicest cuts from the Motown, Stax, Volt, Chess & the rest vaults served up for max soul satisfaction.
