Brian Cid makes his UK debut, alongside Amber Long, Ian Dillon & Warren Mooney from Twisted Audio. Top drawer progressive house all night long on a Funktion 1 sound system at Cell 200 in Kings Cross.
Heading up the lineup for this our 5th UK event, is Brian Cid (Endangered, Get Physical, Cityfox) coming all the way from Brooklyn in New York and making his UK debut. He is a man with a pretty extraordinary CV, he spent 10 years spent as an audio engineer working with the biggest names in Hip Hop, for people like Wiz Khalifa, Snoop Dogg and Mos Def and then, having honed is production skills, he decided to tap into his love of club culture and enter the world of house music. Since then, Brian’s original productions have been released on labels such as Guy J’s Lost & Found, Hot Since 82’s Knee Deep In Sound, Manjumasi, Get Physical, microCastle, Cityfox & more.
Next on the lineup is Modern Agenda label boss Amber Long, from Toronto in Canada, who is also making her UK debut. Having pledged at the beginning of 2017 to have at least one woman on every lineup for our UK events, we’re very proud to have one of the most eminent women in the global progressive house scene come and play for us.
If you’ve listened to Rogue, her monthly show on Frisky Radio, you’ll know she has a trademark heavy, chunky sound to her mixes – you can hear the love of techno infusing her work. When Amber enters beast mode, you better be ready! As a producer / vocalist her work has been released on such labels as Bedrock, Modern Agenda, Bedrock, Global Underground, Sudbeat and Einmusika.
Next up on this all star lineup is Ian Dillon (Pro B Tech, Global Underground, Balance Music, Sudbeat, Asymmetric, Modern Agenda). Ian’s style fuses dark driving basslines with the ethereal melodies and atmospheric ambience. As a DJ, Ian has played events alongside John Digweed, Guy J, Dave Seaman Darren Emerson and many more, both In the UK & abroad.
And completing the lineup it’s Warren Mooney from Twisted Audio! If like us, you have had the time of your life at every Twisted Audio boat party on the river Thames, you know how much it means to have Warren on board.
