Dayfever returns for its 2nd chapter following an incredible launch earlier this year. We return to the heart of London’s East End and this time, we open the doors to our new home; the infamous 93 Feet East.
Continuing our concept for exclusive Disco, Funk and House showcases from rising UK talent and household names alike, we welcome the Soulful electronic music pioneer Fabio.
Having been around for over 2 decades, Fabio has acquired legendary status for good reason. Starting his career as a Pirate Radio DJ in the mid 80’s his style evolved with the various musical genres Dub, Rare Groove, Hip Hop, Disco to early House, Jungle and Drum and Bass. It’s a credit to him that after all these years he remains at the top of his game. In the mid 90s Fabio (alongside musical partner Grooverider) was signed to London’s Kiss FM. The Wednesday night Drum and Bass show won various radio awards and fast became one of Kiss’s biggest underground shows. Fabio and Groove made the move to Radio 1 between 1999 and 2012 being one of the longest running and most successful shows on the station. Fabio pioneered his own genre of drum and bass ‘Liquid Funk’ through his radio show on Radio 1 and club residency nights which included his legendary weekly night “swerve”.
On support duties comes recent Defected In The House signee Martin Badder. Currently causing huge waves on the global House scene with his smash record “See It Through My Eyes”, Martin continues to build his brand as an artist for Soulful, Groove-riddled production, enjoying airplay from the most highly regarded tastemasters in the industry.
Enjoying continued success with his brand both locally and on the White Isle, Vida Alta’s Harty brings the funk alongside Phonetic Recording’s Kirk Paten and rising House talent Sam Whitmore.
