Severs – BBC Music Biggest Weekend Fringe – Live at The Half Moon Putney at | 27th May
Woking-based Severs bring their unique take on rock back to the Half Moon. Adding psychedelic elements and infectious electronic beats to grungy guitar sounds, Severs inject some edge to the modern rock scene.
Having previously played at the world famous Isle of Wight festival and also supporting Procol Harum at the prestigious Le Trianon in Paris towards the end of 2017, Severs are pleased to return to the Half Moon with underground legends CuT and Half Moon favourites, Garden Party
CuT
CuT are a space punk four piece from London, England. Inspired by the beatnik & punk movements of the 60‘s / 70’s & early 90’s, Notably Fugazi with their manifesto of DIY & self reliance. Combining heavy fuzz with pop melodies CuT draw from a rich heritage of modern guitar music citing PiL / Nirvana / Stone Roses & Rema-Rema, as some of their more well known sonic influences.
Garden Party
Garden Party is a young and lively alternative rock outfit, formed in London in 2016. Their vibrant, funk-inflected, psychedelic sound sees them deftly navigating styles and genres with both intricacy and energy. Following the release of debut EP ‘Electric World’, they’ve played a number of gigs for audiences of up to 300 people, including several headline sets. With every dynamic performance they showcase a mix of original material and a diverse range of covers, from Hendrix to Gorillaz, each one reimagined and projected through their signature kaleidoscopic lens.
