The SLST presenting a truly blinding soul sonic force of a line up to truly dance for all night long at OMEARA London. A duo who truly know how to light the fuse and blow up any dance, permanently, positively!
ROOM 1 / SHAKA LOVES YOU
Glasgow funksters ‘Shaka Loves You’ boast a unique live show effortlessly fusing elements of funk, soul, disco & hip-hop with turntable trickery & tight percussion.
Since forming in 2012, Jamie & Marty have already shared the stage with heavyweights such as George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, The Jacksons, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Chali 2na of Jurassic 5, Craig Charles & Mr Scruff. As well as their residencies in Glasgow & Edinburgh, the boys have rocked clubs from Athens to Amsterdam with regular festival appearances up and down the UK. Add Canadian & European tours to this and you get a picture of how the SLY boys are spreading their funky sound internationally.
Then in ROOM 2 – Time to let the funk mercilessly flow. The Mighty BEN GIBSON and Vinyl Digger Supreme MIKE BANDONI here to deliver the news on vinyl. The scoop – funk is alive and livin on 45. Eruption time, as the rare grooves keep flowing and the funk & soul is truly delivered on the dancefloor. Amen!
